BECOME A MEMBER
Membership in the Council of Archives New Brunswick is institutionally-based and consists of all types of archives including those of government, universities, historical societies, museums, religious communities, sports organizations, and volunteer groups.
There are two types of CANB membership options:
a) Individual membership
The individual membership fee is $20.00. It includes:

Voting privileges at CANB's Annual General Meeting

Subscription to CANB's newsletter

Volunteering opportunities on CANB's committees and/or Executive Board
b) Institutional membership
The institutional membership fee is $45.00. It includes:

Eligibility to compete for CANB's annual grant funding, and access to many types of financial assistance programs throughout the province

Participation in and utilization of ArchivesCANB (AtoM platform), New Brunswick's largest collective database of archival descriptions

1GB of institutional storage on ArchivesCANB to upload archival descriptions and digital objects, with option to purchase additional storage at a reasonable price if desired

Access to free workshops, educational courses, and events, and up to date information regarding free and paid workshops within and outside of the province

Free services, advice, input, training, and site visits from CANB's Archives Advisor and access to a Preservation Officer

Eligibility for nomination to win CANB annual awards

Networking opportunities to meet colleagues in archives and museums throughout New Brunswick

Voting privileges at CANB's Annual General Meeting by a representative of your institution
